135 vert occasional a-pillar leak after new top

I have a 2008 135 vert that never had an issue leaking water when driving in the rain. The top started to wear in the common spot and the dealer replaced the top under warranty. Ever since then it will leak from the a-pillar every now and then during a rain. It slowly drips from under the rubber flap that extends down the inside from the top corner of the windshield frame. It has leaked during a mild rain and has not leaked during major downpours. I am guessing something is just not sealing correctly at times and am wondering if anyone else had this issue (and knows how to resolve). The dealer looked at it a few times, was able to reproduce it once with a hose, said they fixed it (guessing they opened it, closed it causing it to reseal and not leak). I had the same issue, if you shine a light you can pick out where the seal doesn't sit completely. I only have leaking when my car is sitting outside during a heavy downpour. I had my top replaced a year ago and just recently went to my dealer, they said they never touched the seals or alignment during the recall. Unfortunately my car is now out of warranty, so there is nothing they can do. The shop foreman has a solution but it requires removal of the trim and lowering the mounting bracket so the top sits tighter but it cost too much. He also suggested that I clean the seals and make sure nothing is interfering with water channel in the trim which would cause a buildup.

Thanks for the reply. Will try cleaning the seals to see if that helps. With the water coming from under the rubber flap against the a pillar it seems as if it had a hole in it somewhere since it looks like one big piece.

Thanks. Got the Gummi Pflege. So I am guessing I just apply it to the seals. Does it leave any residue that will get on things?

Nothing that will stain, but I would wipe it off before it dries.
