Just Test Drove IS350

I won't go in to the details, but I will say I love my BMW even more now :rocks: My 325i without sports package is a way ahead in handling and quality

Lexus is no competition

Yes it had power and acceleration, but still not the feel I was expecting from IS.

I am so happy I made the right decision on my BMW

I test drove the is250 a couple days ago....also makes me very happy i bought the e90. cheap interior, not fun to drive, and did not think the paddle shifters were very responsive (kinda slow to respond, not very crisp shifting).

I love the old IS300, it was special and it touched my heart in some ways that cannot be described. New IS is bleh.

Cheap interior in the is350? USERNAME18 if you consider that cheap, wouldn't the 3er be even cheaper? I totally disagree with you on the is350 having cheap interior. The finish/material on the is350 is excellent! One of the best I've seen in this class of cars.

Anyways, I believe car and driver did a comparison among several cars which included the 330i, is350, and Acural TL. Anyone read it? 330i came out in 1st place, while is350 was 2nd. This was based on overall performance. BUT as you can see below, car and driver had something to say about the interior finish on both cars.

330i
"Lows: Cold interior design, fritzing electrics, a Platinum Visa price."

I don't really consider the IS a threat or competition to the E90 either...the first time I saw the IS, I was like wow, that's a nice car! The second and third time I saw it, I was like meh.

Design has nothing to do with the quality of the material used.

Don't believe car and driver, believe what you see yourself. I also found the quality of Lexus not up to the standard
