Losing boost in 4/3 gear WOT

Well, with everything that i'm running (FBO, and JB4 with E35 (map 5)) I hit what appears to be about 15 PSI at WOT in 1-3 but in 4-6 it has the tendency to drop dranstically and then spike then drop again.

I had an issue with breaking the nipple on the manifold that connects to the BOV but i feel as though i fixed it properly.. plus it would hold boost in the lower gears but not the higher ones..

Anyone have an idea of what the issue could be? Also why im not hitting 17 psi with map 5 ?

Little side note, upon changing to an aftermarket charge pipe.. there was a substantial amount of oil in the old one running down into the intercooler.. Also noticed that my car mysteriously goes through about 1 qt every 1000 miles.. but no leaks... hmmm related to the issue above?

I too discovered a lot of oil in my stock pipe. I was assuming this is normal. I don't go through a lot of oil tho. Maybe 1 qt every 5-6k miles.

these motors are known to blow oil into the charge pipe intercooler area. upgrade your PCV valve to a robbeck one it should help alot. also an oilcatch can is nice for peace of mind.

Take some logs of it and post in the support section of N54tuning. That's going to be your best first course of action.
