Color Change - Recommendations?

I've found a good 135i n54. However it's in the wrong color.

I know this has been discussed before. However I am not going down the vinyl route, I just want recommendations and ball park price on people in Sydney (or elsewhere) on where I can get it repainted a new color.

Going space grey to titanium silver.

Thanks

For a really decent job your looking at 7 to 10k

Changing colour is very time consuming to prep the car

Its better to wait and find the right car and right colour from the get go

I've been watching the market since probably March. They don't come up that often.

not worth respraying a car a different colour, it will be hell when you go to resell the car and prospective buyers see its had a colour change and start thinking of if the car had been rebirthed etc...

I waited 6 months for a neat manual 335i to pop up and im glad i waited (funnily enough mine is space grey!)

Space grey imo is a great colour as its easy to keep clean and can look tough with some contrasting gloss black rims, spoilers etc

G/L with the hunt finding the right car!

Space grey is definitely the easiest car colour to maintain in terms of cleanliness!

Shame I can't say the same about my matte black wheels...

I agree with others as it's a costly exercise but if you have already balanced the equation especially the happiness it would bring you, then go for it!!

If you are going through all the trouble and costs, would you consider a special colour other than Titanium Silver which is a very common BMW colour?

Would you consider any of the colours within the Individual palette for example? Or one from the Porsche range? etc.

Why not look for an overseas/interstate import?
Would work out heaps cheaper that 10k for a paint job.

Also, id look into plasti dipping the car instead of painting.
Will be heaps cheaper, and you can reverse back to stock easy as if you decide to sell.
Also can do a matte finish plasti dip job which look wicked in my opinion.

Hehe, I am not buying from the dealer direct. We just dropped into the dealer to sort out paperwork and get it shipped to NSW. I bought the car direct from the previous owner.
