1M charge pipe exploded
Anyone had their charge pipe crack?
I pulled out of my drive tonight and had no boost. Got to a Service station and saw the big end of the charge pipe that connects to the throttle body was half missing. Car is under under BMW warranty so should be ok. Sux with no boost lol |

Have a read of this man. http://blog.**********s.com/torque-l...epipe-upgrade/
I think there is a lot of hype in the article but the bit about the charge pipe being made of plastic is on point I believe |

This happened to my stock 135i all the way back in 2009 which had a rubber charge pipe. The whole thing blew off during a WOT run.
Got it replaced under warranty but quickly put on a metal evolution racewerkes chargepipe afterwards. That thing had no issue (including during scheduled services and further warranty work) all the way up to 300kwatw.
