Dialed in the suspension a little bit more and the car is running so well now! I finished 6/101 this weekend overall (would have been 1st in AAA class, but forgot to update my registered car so ran non-compete).

Fastest clean lap (46.206):

Would have finished 2nd overall only behind if not for somehow clipping 3(!) cones on this run. I knew I hit one on slalom, no idea where I could have hit two others. Fastest dirty lap (45.276+3):

Any reason you never upgraded the seat? just curious as I find a lot of people like the additional support of the seat and/or harness

I actually did swap the seats.. for OEM sports seats from non-sport seats :P. The stock belt is totally fine for autox to hold me in; I just move the seat back, pull on the belt to get it tight, and then move my seat forward to get it nice and tight for each autox run.

Part of the reason I didn't do it all these years was that I wasn't willing to give up the seat warmers (I know right, unbelievable but they're so nice in the middle of ~40 degree CA winter; I be cozy with
my top down, seat warmers on and heat on blast at my feet). Right now I'd be more willing to do it but the weight savings would actually bump me up a point into the next class at autox. Maybe I should put them in and bolt some ballast in low CG point on the chassis..

Both reasons are valid points, plus the adjustable side bolsters help aswell, i was just curious.

I love my sport seats with the heaters. Only time I had top down in the 40's was driving through Yosemite at slow-poke speeds with jackets on, though. Usually it's 60 and up for me.
But I haven't run Auto-X.

Do you have a windscreen? They help immensely! Also, something to cover your ears is mandatory under 45-50F haha
