What V8 was used in the Judd 134?
Judd builds their own motors. It was 3.4L and 570hp.

That 6.2L V8 can be had from a wrecked Camaro for less than $6000 and you're a cam swap away from 520hp.

Me too would be a real shame to waste one like this...

And what would they have done with the engine out of the swap put it in a chevy? lol

And really? Bavarian MOTOR works, trying to underline the motor part. Good god what is this world coming to. (Currently hyperventilating in a paper bag)

Cheap, powerful, reliable, lightweight, and plenty of cheap aftermarket parts.

It's no more a BMW than the Judd 134i was a BMW. Still cool though.

Oh and NASCARs don't have mid-mounted engines, 6spd sequentials, or suspensions calibrated to turn right.

That's a lot of power from that displacement!

Bull. LS6's and LS3's will NOT make 520HP with just a cam.

OHV V8 is overrated. It is simply easy, that is all. Not so good volumetric efficiency vs other designs. Also, it's been developed for so long that it is easy to get high quality "go fast" stuff. This V8 was likely tuned for race gas only.

Does anyone know the real price of that motor? I hear cheap a lot but it's not as cheap as you would think to do a good OHV V8 NA build for serious road-track ready power.

The idea/concept of the car seems ok but that looks like someone tried to build their own BMW...and failed. (It looks like any sort of strong wind could rip it apart..lol)

Ugly as hell.
Why is the reason to have GM engine with a couple of pieces trying to be an 1M? In that case is better to fit a Chevy Cruze fiber glass widebody on top of that chassis..

exactly, all the excuses in the world wont change the fact that they put a Chevy engine in a BMW, FAIL.
