Early August works for me. At least right now it does. My schedule M-F and possibly on the weekends is about to get wild once I'm done with this TDY in Heidelberg. I am trying to hit up Hockenheim next week. I think it is still open every night from 1900-2000 unless there are races taking place.

Its quite the rush actually. Since I've done both... I'd say the adrenaline rush you get out of Hockenheim is a bit greater. Only because there are about 30 other cars on that little ass track. So you are always having to divide attention to your left and right as you dissect the course.

Welcome bro.. sorry for the late post.

I definetly agree with you for exception of 2 things.....To me Hockenheim is an adrenaline rush but.....unlike the 'ring.....you don't have to worry about bikes creeping up on you from nowhere at Hockenheim.

And of those 30 cars.....10 are at least jalopies driven by kamikaze psychos.

True, the damn bikes on the 'Ring are stupid They always seem to appear at the worst moment, like when you are setting up for a great line into a turn.

I plan on doing Hockenheimring sometime this week. I think it's still open 7-8pm every night unless there is a race.

Check their schedule. Touristenfahren days have been very scarce and few and far between. I know mainly on Thursday's they had them from 16-20 in the evenings.

Crap, just checked. Schedule says no tourist days for July. A-Holes

On the other hand, there is a piece that says its open from 1900-2000 with no vehicles to exceed 90dBs. So... I'm taking it there is still a chance
