If I'm not mistaken there are 6 units in the country. 4 coming from the local BMW dealer and 2 coming from USA.

There are actually more than that. 6 from the dealership (official) and about 4 grey market (from the US). There are about 4 more coming for the BMW dealership to deliver (already reserved).
Mine is the first unit ever sold in the Philippines (Aug 2011)

but the second one was sold only a few days after. Ours were the first 2 that arrived.

That's great, the more the merrier! I only know 1 person who owns one. I'd be glad to meet other 1M owners in our country and share stories and have some pictures.

Oh you're the one from Cebu, the 1M that was on display when they launched it at The Fort. Owner of the 1st 1M in our country!

Actually before it was displayed in the Fort, I already had my 1M delivered

(The one displayed went to funcar62, the second 1M that sold here

That's good to know. The first time I saw the 1M in that show at The Fort I knew I need to get this car. It took me 3 months just to get a hold of one since Autohaus didn't have any allocation. I got it cheaper and it comes with full options.

there are quite a few 1Ms already in the Philippines. Luial said there are 3 in Cebu (3). Pj has white (1); my friend has a white as well (1); then i know 2 other persons with orange plus myself (3); then i hear there's a black one running around (1) so that's 9 units now. I'm sure there's more. would be nice to get to know them all.

I wanted to do a 1M run in the Philippines but unfortunately I don't have contact numbers of the owners. I only know 3 people. It would be great if we could meet up for coffee also and share stories of our 1M.

I don't know the exact count of 1M's in our country but it should be more than 10 units now. There's still 1 for sale in Autohaus and 1 at Alabang.

If you could pm me your name and contact numbers maybe we could all meet up.
