Tire Pressure

Hey guys,

Yesterday I got the Low Pressure Light warning. Today, I verified and corrected (one tire was very low, like 17-20 psi) the air pressure: 32 front and 35 back (as recommended in the owner's manual). (i'm running BMW's 17' run flats winter tires)..

But, even after correcting the air pressures, the warning light is still on? Is it normal? and why would I need to reset the air pressure on the computer if I have corrected the tires pressure to the recommended pressure?

Apparently the system must be reset. See "FTM - Initializing the System" in your manual & don't forget the final step which is to drive the car.

The tire air pressure must be reset in the system everytime when you pump your tires.

Not true for the US TPMS cars. It must be reset when a tire is re-mounted to the rim.

But the OP has the FTM system.
