Active Front Steering AFS Opionions
Driving a 535dT on the Autobahn lately I regretted not having AFS in my 545iT. Therefore I ordered both my our new 130i and 325iT with AFS.
Any opinions from AFS drivers ? TIA |

Excuse me but I donīt understand well what you mean: You were driving a 535 WITH active steering and discovered how good was this option?
I am ordering a 325iT with AS and personaly think it is the way future steerings will be. In a few years we will laugh at the crazy movements and arms crossing now required when turning the steering wheel. Lots of posts on this topic. Net of it is, those that have it, love it. Those that do not (or who have not driven a car with it) will justify/defend why they don't have it.
Trust your own judgment. Good call on ordering it on your new cars ! |

FWIW, my neighbor has a 545 with Active Steering. He is trading it in for a 550 and is getting every option EXCEPT Active Steering. He said he couldn't really tell that much of a difference.
