windows freezing

Did anyone have any problems with the car doors freezing and the windows not opening in the winter?
I heard that in cold weather the windows don't release and the car door can't open.
Also with all the electronics in these cars, has anyone experenced problems?

this is really interesting, and honestly I have never thought about it. I am really hoping these cars were made considering the freezing. You got me worried man...

Did you try doing a search? I found three threads before I stopped looking simply by typing "windows freezing" into the search.

Here is an example:

This happened to my vert all the time. Heres the way I solved the problem. The night before a freeze take a turkey baster and fill it with de-icer. Squirt all of the seams and they don't freeze over!

I live in northcentral ohio and this past winter was one of the coldest i remember (-22° F a couple days) my car was parked outside at work and I never had a problem with the doors not opening.

You know we can make ourselves crazy with all these post!
I just wish my car would get here already! I am on my 5th week. According to the web site it is still in transit. This Friday it would be 2 weeks on the boat! GEE how long does it take to cross the Atlantic?
As far as the frozen windows go, I will try to keep a mind of the lower temps and keep the window frame lubricated with de-icer.
Thank you for the replys.
