Will these RGR's fit?

edit: see update in post #7

Would anyone be able to tell me if these BBS RGRs would fit my stock 135i? If they won't fit, would spacers be enough to correct (what size)?

18 x 8 front, 35mm offset - 235/40 tire
18 x 9 rear, 45mm offset - 255/35 tire

Thanks for any info!

Should fit on the stock suspension as long as you don't rub the front strut. If it does a 5mm spacer should fix it, although then you might rub the fender on big bumps depending on tire brand. A spacer in the rear will just make things worse. It should fit but might rub with passengers over bumps depending on tire brand.

35 offset with 235 in front seems pushing it

With a 225 tire, it might just fit. However, without some additional negative camber up front, it's right on the edge of poking out.
Rears should be fine.

Really depends on your tire. I run apex arc8 8.5x18 et38 up front with Bridgestone RE11 225/40/18 and it was rubbing the fender before I installed Dinan camber plates. You might not rub on street tire 225/40 since your wheel is 8x18 not 8.5x18 like mine

So this issue is going to be forced quicker than I would have hoped. One of my rears has picked up a nail and is not repairable. I can still drive it for now but it has a slow leak that isn't going to last. Consequently I am now in the market for an appropriate set of wheels/tires whether I like it or not.

I would really like to make the RGR's work instead of buying a whole new set of rims/tires. I could probably sort out a decent suspension for that price. Would a new suspension setup ensure the RGRs would work well? Wheel offsets and sizing is one area of knowledge I am sorely lacking in. I'd really like to be able to use a 235 up front and 255 rear.

I wouldn't run the 235/40/18 up front. 225/40/18 could probably work for you though.
