so...if anybody sees somebody wandering around with a left side cf mirror cap...it belongs to me. some arsehole ripped if off my car and ran off with it while i was parked at usyd. worst uni ever!

Aww man. Having cf items stolen is the main reason i steer away from having it... I'd rather feel 100% comfortable when parking my car than to be worried all the time.

Get a secure spot near uni - it is the only safe way with a nice car. I have a spot underground/lock up/cameras so for me I don't have to stress about the car during the day at all.

I had both my boot and hood BMW badges ripped of my 330Ci years ago, whilst parked at Westfield Burwood.. They used a screwdriver and left nice deep gouges through the paint...

Sorry to hear that. Unfortunately, uni students (including the supposed to be sensible ones) aren't that sensible.

The thing is they just thought it is a bit of fun, not hating anyone or anything, they just think it is kewl. The best people I know during uni days still do all this kind of stuff.
