Navigation afterwards
I just got myself a 118d coupé. I've done a few mods like wrapping my interior and I was wondering if it's possible to install a genuine navigation system. SO not a Garmin or TomTom. Any advice/thoughts?

For around $1,000 you at least used to be able to get a BMW Portable Pro system installed and integrated with the software of your car. That is a Garmin GPS but with bmw logos. For closer to $200 you can get a decent Garmin GPS and install it yourself on the dash like I did. Works great. Lifetime updates of the maps was about $75.

JimD is spot on. But if you're still not satisfied, you could also check out Bimmer Retrofit for an OEM CIC Retrofit.

This is a link to my installations. I am using it on the left but used to have a Garmin on the right of the instruments. It works well.
