Finally: I'm on the K-line and headed to Charleston!!!

Well, she's on a vessel named the "Florida Highway", and headed to Charleston!!

It's slowly starting to feel real; I can't wait to pick it up!! Is anyone else on the Florida Highway, accepting a PCD in early October?

Me Too!!! My AW in on that ship... looks like 22-24 Sept at Charleston.... However, my PCD date is later in Oct than yours I think. I get mine on the 21th-- Wish they were not backed up at the PC!.... Anyway, I will be coming back thru your fair city-- I live in Va Beach, Va.

you should stop by on your way through, we could grab a beer and take some HDR pictures of the cars.

That might be fun!...... could get some great "Black and White" pics that way !!

I think we are headed up into the NC mountains after we pick up the car [Highland and maybe The Tail of the Dragon]......... don't really know my route for sure... but it might work for a quick beer and conversation.

You know another fun route (and not so out of the way and crowded) is the snake. It's Rt 421 right on the border of TN and NC. It's less crowded, and it's not far from Boone, Blowing Rock and the Blue Ridge Parkway. I used to go up there every-other-weekend with my motorcycle, just to clear my head. It's a gorgeous trek, and at that time of year...perfect!! PM me if you want to get together...I'd be happy to meer you out there or along the way (if I can).

Tks for the info on Rt 421--- will put it on my list of possibilities for my trip. Would love to meet you up there and play with the cars, BUT..... the wife will be with me on that trip, and compromises will be required: I get the 1M-- she gets to stop at all them "cute little country stores". ... and that is a compromise that I can accept !!!

Highlands certainly has its share. But you can head up 28 out of Highlands to the Dragon. US 64 has some nice curves too and some nice views but it is usually pretty busy.

Thanks for the welcome. Mine is Valencia Orange. I saw it at the Detroit auto show and decided that was "the" color.

Great-- I will see you at the PC on the 21th then--- At least you were able to SEE the 1M and some color-- I have yet to see the car in ANY color... It will be nice to see at least two different colors together. ... and maybe there will be a black one there also...
