Intro..first post, first thread

UPDATE: 11/11/2012

With my friends mk5 GTI with my old Futuras...

New set of wheels coming soon

09/23/2012

Hello guys just want to introduce myself and my 2011 135i. After two GTI's it was time to leave the VW scene. Working in the car business made this very simple for me the car was traded in with 9k miles and I signed myself up on it. Ive had the car for a bit over 2 months and so far here is my mod list.

jb4 stage 2 (n55)
e85 flex fuel upgrade wires
Injen intake
cp-e charge pipe
cp-e 5" downpipe
custom axle back with magnaflow
ST coilovers
VMR V705s 19x8.5 et35(F) 19x9.5 et33(R)

Overall I am EXTREMELY happy with my 1er tons of power and the DCT is amazing! here are the pics (crappy iphone pictures) a few of my previous GTI as well.

Wheels went on last Wednesday and I pulled them off until this following Monday that I get some fender work done in the rear the fitment is aggressive but the exact look I was hoping for hope yo guys like it.

Hey man car looks great. I was thinking about those same wheels but were afraid they would rub in the wheel well. But you look lowered. If I don't lower my car would I need fender work? Any rubbing in the wheel well at all. Shoot me a pm with specifics please.

Like the wheels! They need to make those specifically for the 1 series.

They do offer them in a bit more 1series friendly offsets 9.5 et45 rears but I wanted a more aggressive look than most go for

Hey man I'd pm u but you haven't posted enough yet to be able to pm. Do I think these wheels would fit ok without fender work as long as the cars not lowered. The guy I called at the **********s website thought they were to risky to run and would probably rub even with 45s on the rear. I'm not really good when it comes to wheel and tire fitment stuff that's why I'm asking. I don't plan to lower my car so that's why I'm wondering if they could work on a stock ride height without rolling fenders. Let me know. Thans man

I wasnt able to make it to the appointment the shop had placed for my fender work so I lifted the rear a few more threads so you can get away with it without fender work although I do rub on a few bumps or dips, If you arent planning on lowering your car you may be able to get away with a 235 rear tire at most but it will look funny I just recommend you get the 9.5 with the +45 offset if you arent going to lower it I went with the +33 cuz i wanted an agressive fit.

yeah im no stranger to stretching tires I know its frowned upon here but owning two VWs prior to this the fitment thing is now a habit lol

Thanx alot! I love the wheel really happy with the finish and quality! I like the simplicity of the wheel combined with the aggressive fitment it was perfect for the look I wanted to achieve. Im still not as low as I want to be once I get my fenders done and new tires in I will lower it more. I will try and get some pics with my nikon this Sunday its my only day off.
