Jb4, dci, berk racing axleback, and a little magic

Hi all, i'm new to this forum, as well as to the one series. I picked up my 2008 135i 6mt alpine white from Maryland with 67k about a month ago.
From right off the bat i fell in love with it it drives like no other car I've owned. The stock power was great and very impressive, and the gas mileage... my lord its good (I dailyed a srt8 Jeep prior to this ). I said i'd wait and enjoy the car in stock form for a few months... Well that didn't last long, the next week i ordered JB4/DCI/clutch delay/and clutch stop. I still need to install the clutch delay but the rest went in immediately. A couple days later i purchased a Berk racing axle-back, and VFSR thermal coated DP'S.
I am holding off on the down pipes for a little but i installed the axle-back after playing with the car on map 1 for awhile, 13psi felt great but up top the car still needed a little more in my opinion.
Now i knew that simply an axle-back wouldn't yield much gain so luckily being familiar with E85 (i've ran it in my built motor wrx for the past 2 years with great results) i decided to go with 4 gallons of corn. That is about a 30% mix depending on E content (I don't believe it's winter blend or e60 yet). Now things just got serious my practically stock 135i is a contender. The car feels like a 115-120 mph trap and backed it up later that night, pulling on an upgraded turbos b5 s4. Car runs great but i'm gonna wait till down pipes to do any further e85 testing. Another note i might add, the car runs alot better top end with the E, map 1 it felt like it was falling off very sharply at 6000rpm.
To sum it all up though i am so glad to be in the seat of a 1, and i'm very much looking forward to further modifying my N54.

-Wes

A couple other pics, including a farewell to the jeep

Oh and after a couple weeks of shopping for a new tow hook cover i ended up finding in the tool kit in the trunk.

Welcome! Love the Alpine White.. I am biased though. You've done more in a month than I did in the first 6! Off to a great start!
