I have always wanted to do this fitment on my SGM 1er

style 260m from e92 m3 on e87 130i M

ET23 seemed impossible in the beginning, and turned out to be true at the end as well

buggy style

I will try sequentially

1 - machining the hub center by 5mm
2 - Fitting 235 or even 225 mm tires instead of 255 at the back
3 - Camber adjustment
4 - Flaring the arches[/LIST]
Dont want no coil over or spring...

will keep you posted

JR-21 Bronze

Im want to pre-order some JR-21 Bronze.

My question is would 19x8,5 ET40 fit around an Stock E82(118D) whit M-suspension, whitout rubbing?
And which type of tires would be the best bet for this setup?

Question, im looking at 235/40/18 ET38 which were off a Bmw 3 series. Will this offset have me run into any problems for me 2009 e82?

I've been wondering the same thing, after doing a little looking around, et40 seems to be a bit aggressive for a 135i. If someone can chime in that would be great cause I'm real interested about these jr21s myself.

Fit: 261's ET52 with BFG R1 245/40/18 with 15mm spacers up front, -1.9 front camber, coil-overs. Clearance was about 5mm to the strut. No bumper tab or fender rolling required.

Is there any cheaper option for 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 that are black and similar to apex arc-8? I'm on Bilstein HD shocks and H&R Sports on stock top hats. I can roll my fenders but rather not pull all 4 of I don't have to. Can someone give me some insight into what tire sizes and offset I need to attain for being as low as I am?

Bought my first ever BMW a few weeks back, this great little 135I E88. Came with this wheels combo on it.. 19x8.5 fronts with 235/35/19's and 19x9.5 rears with 265/30/19's.. have heard front tyres just touch the front guards if I go over a speed bump a bit too quick, otherwise, no rubbing at all...

Cheers

I installed some e46 M3 wheels on my 135i. They are four front wheels, so all of them are 18x8 offset 47. The M3 rear wheels are too low of an offset to fit without some work. I'm running Michelin PSS, 225/40 front and 245/35 in the rear. No rubbing on stock sport suspension.

Wheels: BMW Style 263

Front: 18x7.5 ET 49
Spacer: 12mm Hubcentric spacer

Rear: 18x8.5 ET 52
Spacer: 10mm Hubcentric spacer

Tires:
Front: Bridgestone RE760 225/40/18
Rear: Bridgestone RE760 255/35/18

Suspension/Fender Mods/Camber:
- Bilstein B12 Kit (Eibach Pro-kit + Bilstein B8 sport dampers)
- Dinan Camber plates (front)
- Dinan Rear shock mounts
- Rear fender mildly rolled, was rubbing at the rear portion near bumper
- Alignment at front is factory m-sport except camber which is at -2.0
- Alignment at rear is factory m-sport except camber which is at -2.3

Notes:

- NO issues at the front, lots of clearance due to camber and extra height provided by the Dinan plates (gap is about 2 fingers loose). Could probably have gone with a 15mm or greater spacer, or wider wheels and tires if I really wanted to

- Rear is another story. Rubbing on dips or when there is weight in the back. Tried getting rid of it with an aggressive alignment adding in more rear negative camber. -2.3 is the most I'd want to do for the street/DD. That didn't work, so conceded to have the fenders mildly rolled. That has eliminated 90% of the rub. The only remaining rub is now on the fender liner at the front portion of the wheel well. Not sure what else can be done, will take a look this weekend and update.

Overall, frustrating to say the least as I thought my fitments were mild compared to what others have done....the tires are also generally narrower than other brands. Overall these cars really do suck for clearance unless you want to deal with the headaches. I hate the idea of rub as I want the suspension to be able to work freely through it's entire range of motion.

Wheels: BMW Style 163M front wheels, 19x 8" et 47 on all corners (see photos below)

Front tires: M PSS 225/35; Rear tires: M PSS 245/35 (yes, too tall)

Suspension mods: M3 Rr subframe bushings, M3 front control arms and rear trailing arms. No spring mods.

Had slight but definite rubbing at all corners on poor quality roads or over dips without passengers.

Changed to Style 182 black finish wheels (BMW optional performance wheels) with the OE tire sizes. No more rubbing although I haven't had more than one passenger to this point. Sorry, I don't have pics of these yet.

My question has to do with the upsize 225/40 and 255/35 tires. Looks like the BFG G-Force are very wide at section width and tread width, so I'm curious if there will be a fitment (rubbing issue). Anyone tried these tires in the listed sizes? I'd like to go to this size just to have more options on tires (performance category and brand).

Notes: No rubbing. I find it best to run them at Front 42 psi and Rear 44 psi. They are fairly new, but are grippy in dry and wet. No more tram track issues either.

Just upgraded my suspension and wheels/tires this past weekend from OEM to Koni STR.T shocks and Eibach Pro-Kit springs. Wheels are Apex ARC-8 in anthracite. 18x8.5 in the front with 235 Hankook V12s, 18x9.5 in the rear with 265 Hankook V12s. No rubbing, no spacers.

Hey everyone...this is my 2009...it's my daily driver. Suspension died so I went all out...KW V3's and BBS CH-R 19" x 8" ET 40 Fronts on 225/35/19" Toyo T1 Proxies and 19" x 9" ET 44 on 255/30/19 Toyo T1 Proxies. Car is dropped about 3/4" front and about a 1/2" rear....rides fantastic. There is absolutely zero rub and no fender roll done. I have put it through it's paces with acceleration, braking and turning and no rub but you definitely hear that talked about KW V3 noise from the suspension that has been talked about on these forums. But that's only when you push it...to me it sounds like the spring is moving on the spring perch but again that's only when you are pushing the car hard. Does not bother me though.

Cheers,

Rui.

Looks good Rui. We should meet up with the other Toronto/GTA guys soon. I can't believe you don't rub in the rear, my setup is more mild than yours and it rubbed until a rolled the fenders....ridiculous and annoying!

I'm down for a BMW meet...could be the rubber you are running. T1 Proxies have a very round shoulder...if I had Michelin Pilot Super Sports like I have on my M Coupe...on the 128i...I'd definitely rub as those are very square shoulder tires. Don't get me wrong...I'm not rubbing but it's not by much.

Yea - I'm running RE760, they are not especially wide or square shouldered. Seems like the Thursday night meets in Mississauga are back on, I may drop by this week actually. Check out the Canada forum for more..
