DIY Request: Proper meth mixture

Anybody have a proper meth mixture recipe? I know I can get that denatured alcohol stuff from Home Depot or wherever. Hard to find a definitive guide or recipe...

Its usually not recommended to use more than a 50/50 mixture as meth can be very corrosive. Also meth from a speed shop or some where that sells race fuels is better than what you'll find as say, hobby lobby for rc cars. Active Autowerke actually recommends no more than 49% meth in their kits, for what it's worth...

Right, I just wanted to be certain on what I can use as well. I know it is supposed to be distilled water and _______

What exactly is safe for use?

I ran 100% in my evo with no ill effects!!Awd motorsports started a thread about cracked pistions while using meth,after that thread I pullled the meth out asap and ran pump gas..The car made 570 on meth at 31 psi with 9 peak *then retuned it on straight pump and made 575 with 10 * peak with 30 psi!!The car made more power on pump because clearly the meth was used as a cushion not a power adder.I don't think I would ever run meth ever again!!They need to make a bigger injector so we can run e85,that's the best of the best ..

saw a chipped piston and bent valve from an n54 on n54tech.com .. he was running meth but somehow his rev limit was beyond redline i think...
I dont blame it on meth..
Really, i wouldnt worry about running meth if its for power cusion.. its a good alternative if your running shit gas..
plus meth is good for our DI cars..

i take that back lol i perfer to run 30 percent denatured alc for it cooling effects and 70 percent m1 its work amazing

VP fuel makes a methanol called m1 methanol you can buy it at most tracks

How much extra boost do you run with that? I am cautious about overdoing it. I am at +3 psi with the WW meth kit now.

i about 17 psi but i use map 6 and didnt intergrate my meth with the jb4 i have it controlled amount of boost
