I have never understood why people care what I drive? It is my money not thiers. THEY have the problem not me. "Too each their own" I say. My car is faster than your car; so what? Cheaper, so? Why people from civics talk that shit because they would love to have/drive one of our cars. Or they would like really to race and win against one.

Like sometimes we have hidden minds to kill M3 even though it is BMW but we still know it is bigger brother.

If she was referring to the 128i that would be a much closer race. They are within .5 sec of each other in both 0-60 and 1/4 mile times with manual transmission. That would be a driver's race IMHO.

Civic owners think they can outrun anything. I laugh at everyone I see that has cut springs or a 4" or bigger exhaust. Every time someone mentions VTEC I just laugh. I've only ran into a couple of people talking about how VTEC owns and I just listen to see what they have to say, smile and walk away before laughing my ass off.

It's a woman, so she doesn't know what she's talking about. Like most owners of a certain car, they only know about their cars and then pretend to know about others.

Where I live there are a lot of cool civic/s2000 owners (pushing 400whp-700whp) who aren't the definition of a toolbox filled with kangaroo feces. But again, I also live near a bunch of civics with clear tail lights and a wing on top of their wing who only make their car look worse. They never bother me though. I also have a lot of mustangs that look like that here as well, kind of makes me laugh since mustang owners usually give shit to civic drivers; but people have their mustangs looking the same way

never had the "girls car" comment but I do get lots of people trying to race me. usually 3-series people. i can't even tell you how many morons in leased 328i's try to fuck with me. i don't know why.. my car looks pretty ridiculous at this point, so you'd think people would realize their shitbox wrx non-sti or V6 charger isn't really any competition. do they think I just did everything for the looks?

I cant say that I've really had anybody try to race me, nor have I had anybody say anything about my car in a derogatory manner...or anything at all really. I'm good with that. I've had the loud sr20det with a crap can exhaust, was it fun? yes. Do i have the tickets to show for that "fun"? unfortunately. I'm cool with being under the radar now, this car is for me to enjoy not to show what I have,how low I can go, or what kind of numbers I can put down. its for me to have fun in

funny story, I have an e30 vert as well, 100% clean original. I was at a stop light with my girl a while back and I hear a guy beside me half a car back say "sweet car man". So, doing the cool thing and not geek out about it I just gave a thumbs up (feeling like a million bucks on the inside). Only to hear him come back with "just kidding, its gay".......crushed

Yeah, you're right... I tend to "baby" my cars, so I often forget just how much power is under the hood. I've started to realize that a 135 really enjoys being driven every once in a while though... and it's kind of a waste to drive it like a granny all the time.
