I went with the 7500k. They look white at night vs. the slight blue (8500k).

OEM xenons are 4500k if you are looking to match up the angel eyes with the headlights. I wish this car had fog/driving lamps also, even though they do get broken by rocks all of the time on the BMW's that do have them.

The color temp of 7500k is not even close to accurate. It's much closer to 6K than 7500K.
The stock Xenon bulbs are D1S 35W Philips XenStart A715 4300K bulb.

I didn't get a chance to read the entire thread but from what I understand and researched on e90post, LED Angel Eye replacement kits (PIAA, LUX 5.0, Predator ICE, MYCARR) are a good amount brighter than just regular replacement bulbs and most importantly, they light up both rings evenly.
Some pics:http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=127432 But of course these kits go anywhere from $150-$330... Edit: I see this has been discussed in earlier pages...Anyways I personally would like an LED kit if someone made one specifically for our cars. |
