M series track day

I know this may have been covered by another thread , but I am intrested to know if anyone has done a M series test day?

Beric Lynton (DP) owns a 1 series race team and one would hope that this will be a full track experience ?? Its at lakeside.

Hope its not just a field marketing day ??

So I am thrilled to invite you to join the Bruce Lynton team for The Ultimate BMW Driving Experience.
When: Wednesday 30th April
Time: 2 sessions to choose from:
Morning: 8:30am - 12:30pm or Afternoon: 12.00pm - 4.30pm
Where: Lakeside Road, Kurwongbah, QLD, 4503. Approx 100kms from Southport. Click here for a map.
Price: Bruce Lynton is offering the program at a very special price of $395 for their BMW customers.* A flat rate of $495 applies to all other participants. Includes refreshments, lunch and a certificate.

During this half-day experience, you will have the opportunity to drive some of the best BMW adrenalin-charged vehicles including the BMW M3 Coupé, BMW 428i M Sport Coupé and BMW M235i Coupé under expert guidance from the BMW Driving Experience team.

BMW Oz used to promote the drive days themselves. Are they now using the dealers to promote the drive days which are actually conducted by the M driving experience instructors? I think it's win-win for BMW Oz and dealers

The format for the day is usually a series of braking exercises involving abs stops and steering whilst under braking. Also a couple of drives around a motorkana setup involving cones to set the course. Then driving the cars around Lakeside following the lead car at a prescribed speed. You get to drive an M3 and one other for about five or six laps each.

Guys,

Please be aware that this is NOT an ///M Driving Experience. Those cost $1400ish and are all about driving.

This is a marketing day to show you the 2 Series: http://bmw2coupe.ninemsn.com.au/?DBC=2775#/Home

It has already been discussed at some length here: http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=955427

I think you're confusing events.
Read the first post. It includes other cars on the day.
No it's not the M dynamic drive day, but it's not the 2 series laps either.
Besides, the BMW 2 series drive day is on the 27th, not 30th.

So much confusion, so little facts ... Welcome to the Internet.

+1

I did one of these in Sydney though it was with M3s, 125i's and 325i's.
