Making the Change

After the fanfare of the M235i launch a few months back, I'm not seeing any on the road, nor am I hearing much on the forum from people who have stepped over from a 1 to a 2. Now, I know that 2'ers have their own forum but I would have thought there would have been some mentions in this arena.

I've stepped up from my 125i to an M235i. The 125i was an awesome car, but the M235i takes the cake. I've owned this car for about two months now, and I too am yet to see any others on the road.

I'm about to place my order for a M235i. Saw the first on the road this morning. Just need to convince the wife to get Coral Red instead of black leather.

I've been toying with the idea of getting a 1M. However with the M2 confirmed, a piggy bank has been purchased to save my pennies.

Same, took one for a spin and loved it over the 135i. But this time, I'll wait.

I want a 1M hard. There was one super cheap on the Gold Coast for sale but the guy wouldn't return calls or emails. It's no longer advertised for sale (plus something is a bit smelly about a car $20K under value).

I'm yet to see one on the road as well

i've seen one, maybe 2 M135i's, and a small handful of lower models.

I found a stupidly cheap car on the gold coast once. The guy had no mobile and in his email response asked me to pay the money to a bank account and he would ship the car to me. Jeezz...really tempting.

I think the price dropped by around $4k but they also added a bunch of extra standard equipment.

Initially at launch it was:
BMW M135i – $68,400 for the standard 6 Speed manual car.

Now
BMW M135i – $63,569 for the now standard 8 speed auto car.
