Keyhole Cover on drivers door replacement
Ok something I noticed done on the 3 series that I wouldn't mind doing to my 1 coupe. Replacing the keyhole on the drivers side door with a cover. Not really doing it for security but just for looks.
Anyone seen this done on the 1 coupe yet? Any ideas what part I would need to order? http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ghlight=handle |

That would be the cover if the left door doesn't have a integrated key. In England, Australia and Japan - that door is the passenger door which doesn't have a key. In Rest of world, the left door is a driver's door with a key.
I'm not sure why you would want to cover it up. Each to his own. You will lose the ability to close all windows and sunroof by using the door key. |

Don't mean to revive an old thread but I was searching for a DIY on the door lock removal and it's the same as the E92- just a single bolt right through the inside of the door. I also tested one of the prepainted E92 door lock covers we have here as I had a funny feeling BMW wanted to save a bit of cash on the design. They are fully interchangeable so we have these in stock for the 1er as well
