2015 M135i LCI Audio Upgrade

Hello all
Like an idiot I ordered my M135i with the basic stereo which sounds worse than a 1960's transistor radio.
I know there are some aftermarket speaker upgrade options,but the new models don't have the Logic 7 or Alpine BMW OEMB kits available yet from BMW.

First question is when I fit new speakers can I recode the head unit HU-NBT to improve them or is the BMW hifi option just the improved speakers? I know on older models you can recode for Alpine etc.

Second question,has anybody used the FOCAL IFBMW-S kit?

Haha mate you need the other 1 series forum for the F2X.
But yes you can get new speakers, yes you can recode the head unit, but you're not going to get any good result without an additional amp.
