I am considering going to a non-runflat tire, I have used both the PS1 and PS2 on my other cars in the past and liked both tires a lot, but I am concerned that the softer sidewall of the non-RFT tire combined with the soft stock suspension of the 135i may lead to a car that feels excessively soft (the PS2 being the softer sidewall of the 2 Michelins). I would appreciate feedback from anyone who has tried this setup. TIA

I had the ps2's with the stock suspension and it definately absorbed the bumps better and of course they stick better in the wet and dry. I thought the ride improved a great deal and elliminated some bump steer on broken pavement. I definately prefer non-runflats on the stock suspension. However, the car does have a lot of roll and the dampening seemed overly soft for my taste so I upgraded to the bmw performance suspension. It now feels they way a normal sports package bmw should. The runflats were too hard and the suspension was too soft.

I didn't have HD money to spend on tires, so no PS2s for me.
The Hankook V12 makes my car ride much better.
It is quieter. No banging over bumps. Much much smoother.
I really like these tires a lot. It should have come with them.
Now I glide down the road instead of banging down the road.
I couldn't be happier!

One of the best tires out right now for the money are the Pirelli PZero Nero's.

the fact that they are made in Korea will keep those tires from ever being mounted on my car, I am, however, considering the sumitomos which are similarly priced but manufactured in japan which is a bit more confidence-inspiring for me.

@red sauerkraut, I have no need for M+S tires where I live and pirellis are not that cheap nor are they a bang for the buck compared to the competition

I decided to order the Yokohama Advan Sports after considering all of the factors and reading a lot of reviews, I hope they are a good match to the 135i.
