New here, too

Hi everyone,

Been a longtime lurker and admirer of the 1 series. I plan on ordering a 135i in the next few months and, hopefully, in the carbon black! I've had many cars, including an M6 and 911, but nothing puts a smile on my face like the 1 series! Hope to contribute alot and I'll post my specs when I finally make the order!

I too have owned many cars and the 1er still makes me feel all fuzzy inside each time i drive it. With all the mods avail for this platform, i plan on keeping it for a while.
I see you have a diesel. My parents have a 335d and absolutely love it. What type mileage are you getting?

The X5 diesel is great and getting about 23 mpg mixed. I really don't need such a big vehicle, but I have 2 large dogs that ride occassionally. They fit in the 1 no problem since 1 likes to ride on the front seat and 1 in the back. All that aside, the X5 is great to drive, but no fun factor for me. So, since I love the 135 and it will end production soon, I'm ordering one!
