Haha most people are the other way around. I guess maybe you could find a wrecked 135i and get the trim from it or have yours covered with a silver vynel maybe. People cover the silver with black vynel for the same reason. Ya I don't like the black trim either that's why I didn't get m sport. Btw congrats on your new purchase

^^congrats on your car.
Since you do not like/want black shadow line trim... you could try having it wrapped. ? I have only seen people going chrome to black, not the other way around.

Hey guys, I too would like to introduce myself, i have just purchased my first 135i an 08 model so will undoubtedly be gracing these forums on a frequent basis. The car is black and i will be going for an all black look, including black alloys, carbon badges (bonnet, boot and wheel caps), black front grille and tinting. I will post some pictures on my progress from start to finish to gather your thoughts.

I would suggest getting it vinyl wrapped. Take it to any vinyl place and they shouldn't have a problem throwing a "chrome" type on there for you. If you don't like it, just peel it off. It'll last for years if you take care of it.
And... welcome. |
