My amazing PCD experience!

Well, like many other have said, it was absolutely amazing! Every expectation I had was exceeded. I will definitely be picking up all my future BMWs this way. Many people have explained the itinerary, so I'll skip all that.

We finished up with the delivery around 2:00 and went over to the BMW Zentrum. After that we hit the road. I decided that we would not be taking any interstates, and not be using the GPS at all on our trip back to Tampa. So here's some pictures to document our journey back!

+1 on PCD, it is an awesome experience! Highly recommended to any new owners. The instructors there are great to work with and have even better stories to tell!

Can you tell me more about the drive back to florida without highways? Did you try road 129?

Most of the backroads we took were through South Carolina and Georgia. We hopped on I95/295 just to get around Tallahassee. Then we got on highway 19 south, and then onto highway 17 through the Ocala National Forest. Then we took 441 east onto I4 west to get home. We were going to avoid I4 altogether but it was pooring rain and we didn't want to get lost at night in the rain in BFE, haha.

The coolest road of all was the Atomic Highway (HW125) through southern SC. That's where the first "photo-op" was.

sweet car man! i love all the 135's in Florida. it seems like we comprise a fairly large percentage of the forum.

thankfully there are very few here in Tallahassee...so hardly ever see any 'round here.
