Can you explain and or post better pictures showing how the mounting system of rotor hat to rotor works?

Thanks, for the price if these work well they might be a great option for road course people. How much are just the rotors once you kill the original set?

Currently you're looking at $424.95 (shipped free in the lower 48 states like the first set) for replacements.

I meant more in terms of how does the hat and the rotor interlock, is there something to retain the rotor in terms of shearing force off of the hat besides the bolts or is that it?

The hardware secures the hat to the ring. This is a common in two piece rotors.
