I'll talk to him first to see if he still does this. He is a car guy too which is great. He used to owned a full Nismo modified 350z and now has a BMW M coupe. Those of you on Final Inspection forum may have seen his car before. He takes his car to final inspection all the time.

I havent told you guys this but I built the only GTR XU1 with a 5litre V8 back in the early 80s..
There was a few around but mine was the only one at the time that was actually street registered with the 8.
Built it from scratch..

kris, would love to know if the coupe sounds any different to the vert. Drove the vert last weekend and quite liked the sound...From what Zuzu has mentioned, the coupe didn't sound as nice as the vert.....

Raj..I spoke to the dealer about the difference in exhaust note and the vert pipes are slightly diiferent in shape to the coupe.

Mainly because the verts belly plate is diff shape due to the reinforcing of the verts chasis.

This as well as having the roof off on the vert gives you a more throaty exhaust note.

I had the roof up when I drove the vert and loved the sound. I guess if your not happy, add the BMW performance exhaust but ill report back tomorrow with my impressions on the sound
