I've not opened a general invitation to the Mini-mods people since we have a large group already and it's best not to get too large. However, I've told a couple of mates about it and they might come along.

I am planning at this stage to join you guys if I'm still welcome. It will be good for me as my parents live in Bowral and I lived in the Southern Highlands (mostly Exeter) for 7 years before moving up to the coast. I miss the drives down to Kangaroo Valley and Macquarie Pass so looking forward to it. My wife Vicky will be coming with me. I hope I don't feel out of place as a late 50's driver, but I'm still a car fanatic. Have been my entire life.

dont worry about it "Oldman" if you drive a 1er you are fine. After xmas I felt sixty ( lllots of red wine):drinking:. I'm bringing the MD of home affairs(shopping is on the adgenda in Bowral before pie shop!) so I'll be driving like a seventy yo at times. I need to drink lots of water so I can piss like a twenty yo:biggrin:.
you will find there is good spread of ages at this meet. You and Vicky (young yl) will have a ball!
If you want we can meet in Bowral before hand?
Yep.

Hi Yep 135

Bowral would be great. Lets work out a time and place closer to the date but what time to you approx. think you would be in Bowral to give me some idea. It's about a 2 hour run from here on the Central Coast.

Hi yep 135
Parking outside Springett's on a Sunday morning is very much an impossibility. Do you know where Corbett Gardens (Tulip Festival) is across the road from the Police station (one street east parallel to the main drag). Around there would be better luck for parking.

You're absolutely welcome to join the run! Are you coming from the Central Coast? If so, there are a couple of others coming from up north ... 2bob and Breville. You might like to join them on the run through Sydney for an 8am meet at Loftus Oval. From there we have a drive through the Royal and then down to Wollongong for a blast up Maquarie Pass in time for an ~11am meet at the Robertson Pie Shop. (see first post on this thread for full details)

No need to feel like you'll be out of place as a late 50s driver. I'm guessing, but 2bob must only be a few years behind you.

Yes sorry thats what I ment at the back of Springett's in the car park there. that is where MD of home affairs is droped off usually while I go to visit the M/Mart store.
It take about 2hrs to get there from here so will be there about 9ish as Kim will want to do some shopping before the event.

Dont worry about the age differences Oldman..

As Yep mentioned, the age's vary quite a bit in the group..

We are all car fanatics regardless of age.

There is a few of us in the late 40's to 50's who will be attending.
