I run Schroth Quick-Fit Pro Harnesses in my car for autocross, so weight is basically the same...maybe a 1lb or so, but that was already included when it was on the scales prior.

How does the street driving work then? I thought the SPGs were a full bucket in terms of preventing a stock lap belt from functioning.

I'll take a picture. You can route the stock belt thru the side harness holes and still use it to where you are perfectly restrained within the seat.

I had my 128i weighed at VIR when I took it out for Time Trial with NASA.

2009 128i - 6 speed manual, Sport/Premium, heated & powered seats, sunroof. 17x8.5" BBS CH wheels. Roughly 3/4 tank of fuel.

It was 3,380 lbs with me in the car. I'm 170 lbs so... 3,210 lbs without me but with a mostly full tank. Gasoline is 6 lbs per gallon so 63 lbs of that weight is fuel.

Weight-wise, I'm really happy with the E82. It's pretty close to the old E36, but has far more airbags (heavy) and creature comforts (heavy).

I need to weigh my E90, you guys are making me curious, I did it on my Z3, and it was 3100? I think with 2 people in the car. This is ironic considering I suggested the idea.

Fingers crossed that it's under 3400lbs with me in it!

You had me scratching my head there until I saw it was with two people.

Honestly, I want to say it was like 3050 or so with both of us in the car - they even gave a print out. So the weight without us was probably around or under 2800lbs which was fantastic.

I so hope this thread catches on!

Kgolf, definitely put up a thread on when you get the seats in. I plan on doing a bucket seat mod as well. The SPGs seem to be the best fixed back seat for our cars from what I've read on here. I want the Sparco EVO II so freakin bad but I've heard it doesn't fit in our cars (I think the shoulders stick out too much and hit the door) without some fabrication which I'm not willing to do.

Also, these weights are crazy light! The only options on my car are the sunroof, and the smoker's package (the lighter doesn't even work though! ). I have manual non-heated seats too so I'm thinking I'd be around what you guys are even though I'm running these super heavy 264s (but they have supersports on them )

St|G, what is this sunroof delete? Did you option your car without one?

Sunroof is an option in Europe even for 135's. Firstly I didn't want it (almost impossible to find a not fully loaded CPO 125/135) but as the interior gets pretty hot (from the middle tunel, anyone noticed or it's just our car?) and there's no fresh air ventilation as in the E9x or pretty much every BMW out there, it definitely lets some fresh air into the interior. Most of the time it is opened.

Now throw away the memory seats and 261M's.

I'll update my STX thread with them. These fit fairly easily. Mine are currently not centered, might need to fab the side mount a bit so I can shift it right a little more, I'll have to look at it again and see.

Mine wasn't optioned with a Sunroof either.

My car's regi reads 3252, haven't found a place to weigh it yet. my cars only a daily so it's always loaded down with crap regardless(tools in the trunk, misc clothing items, etc).

If i get it weighed i'll update. I have sunroof, electric and heated seats, style 68 17's and i think that's it.

Eventually the interior will be gutted, roll cage+race seats and rear seat delete.. It will become a dedicated drift/track car once its daily duties are replaced.

my car weighs 3250. I was hoping it would be lighter. My half cage adds around 130lbs. No joke. Below is a photo of the interior. For those with race seats - delete your center console. Cuts a few more lbs.

I have you all beat handily in the car weight department.

My 128i coupe currently weighs less than 2500 lbs.

It's currently at the dealership with no motor in it due to the motor being destroyed by said dealer.

I win. Yes technically this is cheating, but i'll take the win.

What side mounts are you using? Use these to help center the seat on the wheel.

VAC Side Mounts and Floor Plates. They also have slotted mounting points. I need to slide the seat over a bit more, but I don't think it will be fully centered. I'm on the very edge of the floor mounts as well.....I can take pictures if you would like.

I think one of the issues is that the seat is very narrow to begin with so I'm restricting myself on mounting locations.

3500 with half a tank of gas, me and some light luggage. Printout says more rear weighs more the front by a few pounds.
