Let it also be known that after 80+ emails with Salman and PMing Imran I resorted to this thread. I felt I have exhausted all avenues available and I am still here waiting for a proper tune since ordering it in late October of '13.

I just want a working tune that I paid for almost 6 months ago.

Don't want to be left with:
-A flash tool
-A tune from December that still throws o2 codes because the other 3 tunes I've received wouldn't allow my car to even start.

-And if they are not able to deliver I don't want to be stuck not receiving any type of refund.

I have talked to Sal in regards to this, we are very sorry for the inconvenience, like I stated above please let us know other than getting it done (which we are working on fixing) to make your wait and time worth, we want to do what will make you happy (with a working tune)

I contacted Sal as well, asked for a list of what needs to be done on my end to finish this in two weeks (plus the 6 months I've already waited). If this is unable to be finished in 2 weeks to let me know ASAP!! If at that time the o2 codes are still remaining I will request a full refund and return the flash tool to you guys, since I was told you guys could take care of the o2 codes and that was my primary reason for purchasing.

Anyone know how to reset the DME on a e82?

I know disconnecting the battery will reset the ECM adaptive memory but will it also reset the DME?

Car still isn't sorted out, I've been busy and I believe Salman is swamped at the moment as well.

How can the Evolve tool do that? I thought it could just read codes, clear codes, read ecm and flash ecm.

Update:
It looks like the post O2 sensors are running rich at around 0.8 AFR while the pre 02's are holding high and not moving.

MAF tests and values looked fine.

Update:

This is the o2 data from the Factory BMW tune with the SES light on.

I guess a similar issue has occurred before with a e90 335i. The plan at the moment is to update my software and try to tune again. I've sent the o2 data to Salman as requested.

Hopefully this will all be finished up by the end of the week.

Update:

We are waiting for the tool developer to let us know if the reads are full ECU or not. Making sure a software update will work for the USA DME.

By calling the dealership and providing your VIN, they can let you know if your car has a software update available.

I have no idea what exactly the new software updates or optimizes. Just know they have come out with a software update since I originally picked my car up at the dealership back in December of '09.

Salman basically said they have had a similar issue with a 335 and once it had a software update it was able to be tuned. Hoping for the same results..

I had this issue on my Jeep. Although the tune wasn't causing a CEL, NYS implemented some new laws and i needed to get it inspected and the original tune wasn't meant to plug in to the inspection machine so they wouldn't connect. Dealership updated the DME/computer, i uploaded my tune(Green diesel engineering) back over the new dealership flash and all was solved and well.

I wish you luck solving this issue. I know how frustrating it is to have some BS causing a CEL constantly.
