Taillight protection from elements & fading
I just purchased new LCi taillights and want to know whats best to protect them.
So far I have used quick detail right after install to have some kind of layer. I have a white bottle of micro abrasive plastic polish for headlights ( Meguiers??) But I am too afraid to use that on new items. What are my options? LaminX? or clear bra material? Waxing- if so, then with what? Thank you

I use my Menzerna powerlock sealant on my lights/signals. I have started polishing my taillights/headlights with M105/M205 as I polish my car. Then I finish it off with the sealant. I find the polish/sealant makes the taillights really "pop" out...looks good.

Im actually worried about polishing plastic, I feel this is only needed if the car has had the plastic weather

Lamin-x has worked fine for me, mine are modestly tinted but im pretty sure they make a clear version...you tend to hear mixed reviews on it, but so far its been fine on my car.

Click 'View details' and then 'Add to cart', you'll see the different options. BTW...my buddy said they are not easy to put on unless you have experience with that type of install. I sold mine b/c I decided to use a special coating in order to delay laser feedback. GL.
