Extended warranty

What do you guys think...I paid $2100 for the 6yr/100k extended warranty but I am having second thoughts.

is that 6 additional years, or 6 years from the date of original warranty?

its a new car. so just 6 total, adding two years/ 50k to the standard.

I never buy extendeds due to the fact that I often don't keep my cars; and you can buy them anytime up to end of the regular warranty period.

Your call in the end.

if you have Geico, they offer mbi (mechanical breakdown insurance) for new cars or cars under 12months or something like that. But it's about $100/yr add-on to your insurance and its an extended warranty that covers ANYTHING mechanical. It's a $250 deductible per repair and works with dealers, indy, etc. The catch is you had to have it from day 1 on the policy, can't add it later down the road.
