Ensure that the insurance policy covers any optional extras! I know some are cheap because they don't cover and replace any optional extras that are damaged or stolen.. i.e. Performance seats, etc.

Jez could get away with home content insurance cover, rarely does it leave the garage and is more a piece of furniture than a means of travel
