I figured out I have an old G4 board and need to sent it off to BMS to exchange it for a newer G5 board.

My question is, can I just unplug the unit and leave all the wiring in place or do I need to pull out the JB4 wiring harness as well and put it back to stock?

If you need to drive it the wiring needs to come out as well. If you can leave it sit then just leave the wiring in.

Now worries. We've all been there at some point. Just make sure your careful with those damn connectors if you end up taking the wiring out.

Not sure why you sent the G4 back... They quit doing the swap for $50 some time ago. Everyone pays the same for the upgrade now! Should have just left it in. Unplug one, plug in the other.
