Tire suggestions :)
Any suggestions for a dedicated wheel and tire package for the track only
Thanks

St Eustace on Saturday with the BMW club of Quebec.
Had one 20 min session at sanair 3 weeks ago. Fast track.

Depends, how much track experience do you have? And do you plan on driving to/from the event with your track setup or will you swap at the track?
If you're still relatively new to it, I suggest you stick with good street tires as R-comps may cover up your mistakes. And if you're driving to and from on this setup, again I recommend good street tires like Star Specs, AD08, or RS3s. If you're pretty experienced and plan to swap at the event, R comp is your best bet... NT01, RA-1, R6 all solid choices. |

APEX makes pretty good wheels for this. Cheap, light, and disposable.

This is a staggered EC-7 setup on a 1M: The BR Racing 135 with ARC-8s 255s all around...I think: This is a forum member's 135 with 8.5s w/245s front and 9.5s w/255s rear: |

Berk uses our v701's a lot of the time on their track-days.

Offset measures how close/far the wheel mounts to the hub. The lower the offset, the more aggressive the fitment (the further it sticks out). But it's all about finding the right offset where it's not so far out it will rub fender side, but not so close where wider tires will rub strut side. |

Yea but what's the weight on those? I remember the V710's were ridiculously heavy.
