BavAuto HP Ignition coils
I'm getting a walnut blast next month and told the Indy shop that since all the covers are off the engine, to replace the plugs and coils also. Would save labor.
I think they will use the OEM coils, but was reading about the Bavarian Autosport High performance ignition coils. They are supposed to increase HP and torque. Or is it really a small increase not worth the money. Anybody try these? thanks

I would personally buy the OEM ignition coils.

What's up man, I have the bavauto HP coils on my e46 M54. I bought them at the time because I got a set of 6 for cheaper than the OEM coils. My experience thus far with them is that they suck. I've had to replace two of them. If you peel off the bavauto sticker they are china junk. I strongly doubt they have any actual benefits. That's just my subjective opinion and is not to be considered informed in any sense. I think two coils in 10k is lame. I've not tried them on the N54, however. Usually I like Bavauto because their stuff gets to my door the following day, but I don't think I would buy those again.
