Please help with fitment

What will i need in order to make this work:

18x8.5 +44mm square setup
Tires?? suggestions needed (do not want rubbing of any sort)

my other options is:
18x8 +40mm
18x9 +45mm

At the moment the car is all stock in terms of suspension. In the future i'd like to get a MILD drop, nothing too drastic (what do you guys recommend?) will this setup require camber plates?

Pros vs Cons of this setup vs staggered

Thanks in advanced

That seems like a good solid setup and will give you no rubbing issues. I'd recommend running something along the lines of a 225/40 front, 245/35 or 255/35 rear depending on how low you plan on going. No need for camber plates.

The setup you've listed is a staggered setup. I'm not sure if you meant pros vs cons of a square setup. Going with a square setup will benefit you by being able to rotate your tires from the front into rear. It'll prolong the life of your tires and give you the most life out of them. Benefit of going with a staggered setup is that it'll give you more traction. Also, arguably a staggered setup will look better than a square.

Thanks for the reply, yeah i was talking about the pros vs cons of staggered vs square so you cleared that up. So square setup option should work no problem? What about with eibach springs 1.0" - 1.5" drop correct?

The rep certainly knows better than I do, but man, 225/40 on an 8.5? I think that will be awfully stretched. I put 235/35 on the stock 8.5 and even that is pushing it for me, personally.

Do you have a pic of what your setup looks like?

hhmmm... damn. I did. I had posted them in the stickied thread about what has been tried, but I since cleared out my flickr account. I'll have to see if I still have the pics at home somewhere. I don't currently have those tires on the car, as that was my winter setup.
