The time has come to sell my 1er () and I wanted to get her posted up here before creating an Autotrader and eBay listing. Here is a link to my Craigslist ad, though I am including its contents below as well: http://bit.ly/1hdREeB" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">http://<a href="http://bit.ly/1hdREe...ly/1hdREeB</a>

I still need to snap some more pictures, but this will give you the basic gist of the car's details. I am asking $23,500. I will entertain reasonable offers, especially if you are looking at shipping the car (I know how that can be; I've done it twice before). I am happy to help arrange for shipping if it is necessary.

Check out the details below. The car is located in Tucson, AZ. If you are interested, please email me or call me, as I have a hard time getting to the computer sometimes.

Quote:
Up for sale is my gorgeous Jet Black 2009 BMW 135i. I'm the second owner and purchased the car in January 2012 with 30,000 miles under warranty from a BMW dealership. I have the title in hand and am very motivated to sell in a timely manner!

Here's a list of what makes this 135i special:

-Sport Package (includes all the performance goodies, various cosmetic upgrades, and a ton of sweet "M" badges)
-Navigation w/ iDrive (best nav/media unit I've ever used! 80GB of space w/ intuitive controls)
-ber rare "Boston Lemon" leather interior. Just a few shades from white, this color pops and stays cool all summer! Beige is blas and black burns!
-Heated, power leather seats (hello comfort!)
-iPhone integration with all necessary attachments (even for iPhone 5s)
-Bluetooth, BMW assist
-Badass OEM cup holder w/ optional authentic BMW mug!
-Formula One Pinnacle Window Film from The Specialists

Other cool stuff:
-Twin-turbo!
-Modest but non-intrusive exhaust note
-0-60mph in 4.9 seconds!
-Buttery smooth, precise 6-speed gearbox with the best clutch response I've ever felt
-OEM brakes designed by Brembo
-Driver Stability Control (DSC) makes it virtually impossible to lose control unless you turn it off!
-Zero blind spots!
-Adaptive HID headlights that can keep up with the fastest turns

Okay, now let's get to the really special part. I bought this car because I wanted something comfortable, reliable, and extremely fun to drive. That's probably why you're looking at a BMW 135i too, right?

First, I ditched the run-flat tires last summer because they handled like crap, made the ride far too rough for Tucson's less-than-perfect streets, and cost entirely too much to replace. Instead, I opted for the best tire money can buy: Michelin Pilot Super Sports. I spent weeks researching tires, and simply put, these are the most comfortable, high-performing tires you can get. Better yet, this set still has most of its tread left AND comes with a comprehensive road hazard warranty (as well as the 30,000 mile tread wear warranty).

Second--and I think this is the real kicker--, this 135i comes with Active Steering.

"What is Active Steering, you ask?"

Active Steering is a rare factory option that adjusts the steering ratio of the car according to your speed. At low speeds, such as in the city, the car is more responsive to steering input and requires less hand-over-hand movement in turns. This makes turns and parking an absolute breeze. At higher speeds, the steering ratio widens to make it easier to maintain a smooth turn and make precise steering adjustments. Check out this video to see what I mean: http://<div class="youtube-playerCon.../iframe></div>

You won't find many BMWs with this feature. As someone who has owned performance cars all his life, I'll be the first to tell you that this is a must-have feature for anyone who loves the experience of driving. Contrary to what some believe, Active Steering brings your steering input and the car's reactions closer together, eliminating that odd disconnect that exists between the two in so many modern performance cars.

The last special quality of my 135i is that it is still covered under the BMW Certified Pre-Owned Warranty until the end of March 2015. As it has been under warranty its whole life, you can be confident that it has received the professional care and attention only certified BMW technicians can offer. All of its maintenance has been performed at either BMW of Tucson or Blue + White BMW Specialists. I've never waited 15,000 miles to change the oil, either. Since buying it at 30,000 miles, she has had two annual oil changes, as I drive less than 7,000 miles a year.

Vehicle history:
The driver side headlight was recently replaced after condensation inside the headlight shorted out the adaptive headlight module. The insurance company covered it under the pretense that the leak was was the result of a parking lot impact. There was no cosmetic damage that I saw but I didn't argue with them. They bought me a new headlight.

Service:
With exception of an alignment, which is due by the end of summer, all major maintenance is up to date. The next service due is an oil change in 13,000 miles (I recommend doing it at 7,500 at the latest!). The front brake pads have 20,000 miles left on them; the rear pads have 33,000. Brake fluid was changed recently.

Cosmetics:
Overall, the car is in 9/10 condition. The interior is a solid 9.5/10, the outside is 8.5/10 due chiefly to a couple small rock chips on the front (nothing a bit of touch-up paint won't fix) and a small cluster of paint damage (about a square inch of scattered chips) on the drive-side rear quarter panel. There are zero dents. The only ding is on the passenger side door handle and you probably wouldn't notice it if I didn't mention it. The body on this car is cleeeeean. Minus those few chips, the paint is pristine!

I have always parked the car in the shade and covered the windshield when it's been in the sun. The interior looks like new minus a tiny bit of wear on the shifter and a tinge of wear on the driver-side bolster by the door.

I don't want to sell this car, but unfortunately, my thirst to travel and write has finally won out over my desire for comfort and fun behind the wheel. The price is $24,300. I welcome all serious inquires via phone, text, or email. Please leave a message if I do not answer; I will get back to you by the next morning at the latest. Should you require additional photos or any additional information, please do not hesitate to ask! I will be adding more photos of the interior in the next few days!

I have the exact same care minus active steering. I love the boston leather and everyone compliments it. Only downside is....it's pretty damn hard to keep pretty. lol.

Free bump for you...

I'll be honest, I've actually had very little trouble keeping it clean. All it takes is an occasional wipe down with some leather cleaning cloths and it's good to go!

Here's a quick and dirty picture of the boston lemon interior. Because everyone is clearly curious.
