the rims that come on the 1M are style 359 so those matte rims should fit. $9000 seems extremely high for the rims. Where are you purchasing them from?

I vote for just painting them.
Or...Do you have a friend in the states that can order them and them ship them down? Or take a roadtrip to the states and grab a set. miiipilot

if you have to buy the wheels (instead of painting), check with Turner motorsport or Tischer bmw. Price is around $2200 for the set. If they ship overseas, even with high shipping costs, it wont be $9k.

Talk to a body shop or powdercoater about painting the wheels. It should run under $150 per wheel to have them painted or powdercoated your choice of fashion colors. Don't believe the hype that either process damages the integrity of the wheel. Do be careful and check the torque on newly painted wheels as they break in and the lug bolts seat on the metal.

AlpineM3E92 your car looks b-e-a-u-tiful!!!
any trouble with the paint?, i think i'll do it ... 'cause i'll also buy the performance spoiler and the mirror caps. you make me realize it's kind of stupid to spend that much in new wheels that look the same only in black thanks hehe |

as Paptethova pointed out... a WIDE array of fashion colors is available in glossy, matte, textured (like anodized) or metallic.... I have had wheels painted silver, also a cool metallic chrome, and had things like valve covers and sway bars or sub frames painted as well at a local powdercoater..
