sweet adaptive headlight failure :(

so hit a good size puddle today and now my adaptive headlight feature went to shit

.... but my low beams and high beams and angel eyes work just fine?\

so now i have to revert my alpine hid kit back to stock for a bit so i can take the car in for service without my warranty being voided... fun

Cliffnotes: OP can't put headlight covers back on correctly and now wants BMW to pay for his mistake.

Bingo. Yet another thread where screwed up headlamps just happen to follow an aftermarket AE install...

Maybe I missed the point.... I thought the HID headlight setup was standard on the 135i. The factory headlights look and work great.
Why would you mess with this and take any chance voiding warranty???

Really? I for one don't expect BMW to pay for my mistakes. I know that a lot of people don't really "get" integrity, though.

the mod bug got the best of me i talked to my service advisor at bmw ... he is the original owner of the car and he said it would be voided for sure but luckily he is going to help me out i have learned my lesson and I'm sticking to stock AE's from now on
