Congrats. Beautiful car that I'm sure you will enjoy. There are lots of other iS guys in the fourm. In fact there's a whole thread dedicated to everyone sharing their deliver pics of their 2013 135is. Look in the coupe convertible general discussion section. It's in there started by mb135is

+1 a modest drop would do wonders for it. Great platform to start on though, enjoy your car OP

Thanks fellas. The car is amazing. Beats my 10' 335i vert I just got rid of. I bought it from Barbara M. I'd consider dropping it but I'm sure coilovers aren't cheap for this thing.

OP here's a quick and cheap mod you can do, replace the OE antenna with a short version, which is not at all hard to find. Costs maybe 30 bucks shipped, and "installation" is a sub 60 second type deal. IMO the OE unit is ridiculously long, it makes the car look much better from behind.

Short antenna
I 100% agree I need the shorter antenna. Does anyone have feedback on how well it's reception is? I have Sirius and I don't really want to compromise reception much.

Valid point and one that I really didn't think about when I replaced mine, I never listen to the radio so it was irrelevant to me how much a shorter antenna compromised reception...I'll do a bit of testing tomorrow and get back to you. Don't have sirius though, but we'll see how FM/AM work out.

Congrat on the choice of color & interior. Nice combo.

Tyco relay?
So I opened my hood for the first time to check out what was involved with changing out the h8 bulb for halos and I came across this relay and I'm not sure what it does. It seems to have been installed after the fact as I see metal shards where it's attached. Any idea what it's for?
