Hi there,

Wondering what the weight distribution is on this rig? I'm guessing you've had it on corner balances at some point. Wondering how it fared...

Appreciate the help as I ponder my build. Also, love the new wheels!

This is the first signature hood to be produced. In addition to adding the vents, they also re-designed the underside.

While they may not advertise this hood in the catalog, it is available for those wanting a more aggressive hood for the track. This hood will greatly increase cooling as it will allow much more air to escape after it exits the radiator.
After having this hood installed for a while now; have you seen some real improvements over the old one?

It removes the high-pressure zone under the hood, giving downforce and allows a lot more air to travel through the radiator at speed. It is also double sided CF and a lot lighter than a stock steel hood. It is 100% functional at a vented track hood.

Hmm. Now you’ve got me thinking. I prefer the standard revozport hood from an aesthetic standpoint. But the added flow at the track would certainly be a bonus here in AZ. Maybe if I paint those louvers...

Fixed that for ya.

Edit: Depending on how it's done.

Nevermind, i got the answer.
Since you car was a 135i, when you switched to the M3 DSC, did you replace the front brake hardlines with 1M ones ?

When he says everything, if I recall correctly he means EVERYTHING. Pretty sure he swapped out the entire front and rear subframes for M3 components.

Sure, but the front brake hard lines don't even touch the front subframe.
They are attached to the body of the car for the most part. Body is still a E82.
