Would you take this deal? help asap please new deal! :D
Hi
so i've been driving a2009 e90 lci 6AT for a year and want to trade into something smaller again (used to drive a mini), and found a 2009 6AT 135i locally space gray/black premium, msport, 6k miles. My e90 has now 23500 miles and the dealer has offered me a straight trade and i pay nothing, my car has sport and premium. Would you take this or should i hold out for a 6mt? thats what i ideally wanted but is the 135i 6AT still going to be fun...? Thanks! |

I personally would not trade and hold out for a 6MT. But if you're used to the AT then there won't be much difference (same engine and same year), so maybe you don't mind as much as I would.
Otherwise, seems like a pretty good deal--make sure you carfax the car for its history. I've noticed that ATs are definitely cheaper on the market than MTs, but it all depends where you live and the demographics. Good luck - my best advice is if you have doubts, don't do it. |

Honestly this deal is crap and the dealer is trying to pull a fast one on you.
Your e90 is worth noticeably more than a 135 of the same year. I'd hold out for the MT, and more particularly hold out for a year newer, 2010 model at least. As THAT is a much more appropriate even trade. |

I can't account for why the dealer is doing a straight up trade. Very low miles on the 135 is tempting. How badly do want this deal? How much longer are you willing to wait? See what another dealer will give you if you sell outright? This will give you a good idea what your 3 Series is worth in the market place.
