K Sport Pro Coilover Install!!!

Finally installed these coilover's on wednesday and I've got about 100 miles on them so far. Let me say that this is the way the suspension should be on the 135i. Body roll is a thing of the past, everything feels tighter and steering feels sharper. With dual adjustable ride height, camber, and dampening adjustments you can tune it for street with mild track use or go full race.

The first 50 or so miles the ride was stiffer or harsher as I still have my RFT's on, but it still has the cofortability of stock on all but the hardest of bumps/dips. They feel like they're breaking in better and I think I need to pust some more miles on them.

Deffinitly one of the best upgrades you can do to your car to get that M feeling. It cleaned up alot of the floaty/sloppy feeling of the stock suspension. I cant wait to get rid of the RFT's.

Thanks going out to Micheal of Acute Performance for the hookup and to TiC for help with tuning and alignment.

For those that dont know this is the camber adjustment that comes with coilovers that allows the fine tuning.

Very nice setup! The car looks good. I love the K-sports, you will find they aren't to harsh for daily driving either.

Mind me asking how much you got these for? I'm also in the market for some coilovers - wanted to check and see if these were in my price range.

Sorry all for the long response I've been away for work, I bought them from micheal at acute performance on the bimmerfest forum. He was looking for a test car and I got a great deal on them. I believe if you message him he can get you a great deal on them. Typicaly K sports go for around $1300, but thats a bargin compared to $2000 KW3

Yeah I'm really happy with them it's very comfortable, yet when you push it the car responds sooo much better

Here's a link to Micheal's original post
http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=459560

If you read the section on ride height adjustment, that's what makes these coilovers awesome. You dont adjust the spring perch to adjust height which causes the bounce and it also causes the ping ping noise when you turn.
