Cheapest would be to have a 3rd party use a Flip video camera and upload to You tube and add link to this site. Or, you can buy a Go Pro camera and mount to your car

All you need is a tune to run even with/edge out a stock s65 powered m3. JB4 or PROcede are your best bets for the N55(right now.) The PPK is garbage and very expensive. If you want to be sure to stay ahead of an M3 you'll need a tune+DPs+FMIC OR tune+meth injection. I'm assuming you have a DCT trans and those can be tricky to launch but just work on it and you'll find out the DCT is probably the easiest trans to use for launching.
All good tunes will void your engine warranty if you have an engine related problem. |

+1 on go pro, it's a phenomenal little thing. Stuck one on the back of my bumper at...elevated speeds, and it didn't budge. Very cool product.

I have a go-pro, I'll be sure to take a video of me kicking his ass when all of my mods are done. Thank you all for your help!

[QUOTE=RoarkeOlver;12370384]Anyone else get an error on the link?
I just tried it...worked for me. Try going directly to youtube and search for "terralynn1711" It's the only video posted under that name!

If you're worried about warranty and you've got an N54 just buy a Cobb AP for ease of use. It installs in about 10 - 15 minutes and you can change maps in less than 3 minutes. So it'll revert back to stock real quick for dealer visits. I'm recommending Cobb cause its easy for a newbie to use (no offense). I've got a Cobb ap and I love it. No experience with any other tunes but I'm sure they are all very close in results but like like I said the Cobb installs and uninstalls in a breeze with no mechanical experience needed.

GIAC is the way to go and will beat Cobb to the punch. Contact them and ask ...it'll be worth the wait.

that is if you live close to a GIAC shop. Otherwise anytime you need to bring your car to a dealer you have to mail away your ECU to be reflashed back to stock then mailed back to you if im not mistaken.

GIAC is a very respected tuner and offers solid tunes. However, with Cobbs release of ATR and the boost oscillation fix in the V402 maps I think GIAC is going to quickly fall to the wayside unless they REALLY step their game up.
I've spent quite a bit of time analyzing the GIAC "race" map through logs I've found/acquired and recreating it using ATR software. It's basically the Cobb stage 1 aggressive load table running the stock timing table +~2°. |

Terra,
I would tell your man not to supercharge his M3, those motors are known for a spun rod bearing when supercharged and that is not a cheap motor to replace, talking 20K. He should get a crank pulley, intake, exhaust and a tune, car has unbeatable top-end power. For your 135i. I would do Intercooler, chargepipe with forge diverters, CAI, and downpipes. Then I would go get an OE tune, since cobb hasnt gotten their shit together with the N55 yet. Glad too see some ladies driving fast cars. Their aren't enough out there. |

Sure, just upload it to youtube... and make sure to put all runs were done in Mexico I think pueblo and mexico are similar, lol . In CO you should get him with a Tune, FMIC, DP's but I think COBB AP would be the easiest for you, if you have the n54. Beautiful car throw some rims on it!
